The Good You are bidding on a privately owned 2010 Ford Escape, Limited V6 with 107,419 miles. The vehicle is 4-wheel drive and has been serviced quite regularly since we purchased it in December 2010. We bought the vehicle with 18,000 miles on it and we are the second owner. We recently purchased a newer SUV so this vehicle is surplus to our needs. It has been a splendid performer in all seasons. The Escape is a fantastic commuter vehicle and the AWD is extremely helpful during the snowy season. The engine is strong and the power doors and windows work as they should. The alignment is straight and this vehicle handles the potholes with ease. The front sway bar links and front brake pads and rotors were replaced in February 2018. All maintenance was performed on schedule. All recalls have been repaired. We also have the driver's manual, stereo manual, 2 key fobs. There are no liens on the title. The Bad The exterior is rather clean with the exception of the front hood where clear coat is starting to fade. There is a surface ding on the driver door. The interior is pristine as the Weather Tech Floor mats have done their job. There is some curb rash on the wheels and the tires may need replacing within 10,000 miles. The driver side heat seat is currently not working and we believe it is a bad fuse. There are no check engine lights. The most recent oil change was performed three days ago. There were also 2 accidents reported on CarFax. The first happened prior to our purchasing the vehicle (unbeknownst to us and not previously identified on any CarFax report or through an independent inspection). The second, my wife was stopped at a light and the guy behind her rear ended the vehicle while eating a sandwich!! Our takeaway from this is while we didn't previously know the vehicle was in an accident prior to purchase, we also didn't see any ill effects from the accident throughout its use. The other accident was merely cosmetic bumper stuff. With that said this vehicle still has plenty of life in it. We have tried to take as many pictures of the vehicle as possible to accurately represent its current condition. With these vehicles, it's all about the engine and how well you service your vehicle.
